Strip Gauge Inspection System Setup
Mounted between the extrusion die head exit and cooling drum entrance, the Strip Gauge Inspection System uses a single-point non-contact laser measurement that continuously traverses across the extruded strip to verify average gauge, alerting the operator via an audible and visual alarm if the product is found to be outside set tolerances. Offered with pneumatic or servo-controlled positioning, the system integrates easily with existing production lines to deliver smarter, more reliable process control.
